Abstract

The memoirs of the graduate student of professor K.P. Bunin about the joint work with Ju.N. Taran on the study of the 3D structure of the eutectic colony are given. The development of the view from model eutectic as the mechanical mixture to the model of the dendritic bicrystallite of the eutectic phase is presented.
